RD Meeting Chicago Recap: Collaboration, Airway Innovation & Real Partnership
2:21

We’re still thinking about the energy from the RD Meeting in Chicago hosted by Glenn Krieger and the Orthopreneurs team.

The event brought together orthodontists, dentists, oral surgeons, and industry leaders focused on innovation, leadership, airway treatment, and practice growth — and for the Partners Dental Solutions team, it was an incredible opportunity to connect with both current and prospective partners.

One of the biggest highlights was hearing from speakers like Andrew Leland and Katie Graber, who shared valuable insights on practice growth, leadership, and lessons learned throughout their careers. The collaborative atmosphere throughout the meeting reinforced how important community and continued learning are within orthodontics today.

At our booth, some of the most meaningful moments came from real doctors sharing real experiences with prospective providers interested in MARPE and airway treatment.

A standout moment was seeing Shira Tor from Weiss & Tor Orthodontics spend time walking other doctors through our MARPE models and custom appliance workflow. She openly shared her experience working with our team and discussed the value of collaborative planning and custom design when treating airway cases.

Those peer-to-peer conversations are incredibly impactful because they allow doctors considering airway treatment to hear directly from clinicians actively using these workflows in practice every day.

Throughout the meeting, we had conversations surrounding:

  • MARPE implementation
  • Digital workflows
  • 3D printed bands
  • TAD placement
  • Team onboarding
  • Patient education
  • Custom appliance design
  • Airway-focused treatment planning

We also had the chance to reconnect with current local customers (like Jacobson & Tsou Ortho & Gold Coast Ortho), meet new providers interested in onboarding, and simply enjoy the relationships that make this industry so unique.

Meetings like RD are a reminder that orthodontics continues evolving rapidly, especially within the airway space, and strong partnerships between doctors and labs matter more than ever.

We left Chicago feeling grateful for the conversations, inspired by the collaboration, and excited for what’s ahead. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, shared experiences, and spent time with our team.
